Our classic Central Park Bike Tour is a 2-hour guided ride covering the park's 6.1-mile loop and all 5 must-see landmarks, led by a local cyclist who knows the history and the best photo spots. You'll ride comfortable classic bikes — no experience needed beyond basic riding confidence.
This is the same guided route as our E-Bike Tour, just on pedal power instead of pedal-assist. It's a great option if you want a proper workout along with the sightseeing, or you simply prefer a classic bike.
A 2.5-acre memorial to John Lennon at 72nd Street West. The Imagine mosaic was installed in 1985 — quietest before 10 AM.
The heart of the park, with the 1873 "Angel of the Waters" fountain and 16,000 ornate Minton tiles on the terrace.
The most-photographed bridge in NYC — cast iron from 1862. We walk bikes across; riding isn't allowed on the bridge.
The 1869 Calvert Vaux miniature castle at the park's highest point — the best skyline view on the route, free to enter.
A 1934 landmark restaurant on the west side at 67th Street — our usual coffee or lunch stop.
Our Central Park shop, four minutes' walk from the park's south entrance at Columbus Circle.
